Michael O’Connell was born August 11, 1964 and passed away February 17, 2026
Michael was a devoted father, son, brother, fiancé, uncle and friend. At his core, Michael was a sweet and gentle soul whose kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
His daughter, Skyelar, was his greatest pride and the center of his world. He deeply loved his fiancé and his family, who meant everything to him.
Michael was proud of his Irish heritage and a loyal Buffalo Bills fan. He was a devoted fan of The Rolling Stones, their music was part of the soundtrack of his life.
Affectionately known as “Nard” to those closest to him, he will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and his genuine heart.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carol O’Connell; his sister, Mary Kay O’Connell; and his brothers, Terry and Kevin O’Connell.
He is survived by his daughter, Skyelar O’Connell; his fiancé, Milsa Franco; his sister, Karen O’Connell; his brother, Robert (Cheryl) O’Connell; his aunts, Mary Ellen Garland and Judy (Tom) Ziegler; his beloved dog, Mia; Kaitlyn Russell and Kyle Russell; and many other special nieces and nephews, cousins, stepchildren, grandchildren, and friends.
He will be deeply missed.

Going to miss you uncle Nard rest well with my father, nana, grandpa, uncle Terry and aunt Mary Kay.
Mike was my neighbor for many years and he was a special person. I remember some of his antics! He shall be missed.

It’s a sad day, but Mike lives on. In each moment his daughter will do something small and you’ll think Mike did that. Karen will do a gesture, oh, that’s Mike, Bob will laugh, and he’s there. We remember Mike in every life he’s left behind so really he has never left .
