William A. Palmer passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 20th.  Bill was predeceased in death by his parents, McKee and Rosalia Palmer and his sister Margaret Palmer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia and three children; Chris (Jennifer) Spiegel, Nicole Spiegel and Andrea (Andrew) Woods.  He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Shane, Jason, and Ashley Spiegel and Stellablue and Soren Woods.

Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a sergeant in Vietnam.

He was owner and CEO of Pullman Mfg. Corporation. While he was close to his Pullman family for 49 years, what he valued most was his time as husband, father, and grandfather.

A long time member of Oak Hill Country Club for 49 years, Bill enjoyed countless rounds of golf, memorable nights bowling and great laughs with his close friends at the club.  He was also very fond of the outdoors, spending time on Conesus Lake boating and fishing.  During his younger years, he was an avid hunter (even bringing home a deer or two over the years).

Bill was also a skilled woodworker building many pieces of furniture for his children, grandchildren and for his own home.  These handcrafted pieces survive and will be a lasting memory of the pride he had in his work.

Calling Hours for Bill will be Thursday June 27, 2024 4-6PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Bill’s memory to:
