He is also survived by Chris and Laura’s children, Anna Forrest, (Daniel) and their grand-daughter Isabella Mae, and Shaina Mackin, (Ryan), as well as Wendy’s children, Sarah Groeneveld and Tanya Groeneveld, and some especially supportive and friendly nieces and nephews.
Clark was a veteran of the United States Army. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology; and worked at Eastman Kodak for over thirty years. After retiring from Kodak, he created Butterfly Career Services, preparing resumes and business correspondence.
Clark was in the original Pet Assisted Therapy Program at Lollypop Farm. He was a long-time blood donor for the Red Cross, and also recruited volunteers. He was an Eagle Scout, and also awarded the Silver Beaver. He volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America for 35 years.
Clark has donated his body to the medical school at the University of Rochester, and there will not be any services.
In Clark’s free time, he loved to work in the yard, building small hideaways for the smaller animals to take refuge in the pathways of his property and also started a greenery where he sold plants to the surrounding nurseries. He also loved sitting inside or out watching the wildlife meander through the yard, as they grazed and even stopping to see who might be around. He was able to list by heart almost all of the birds that feed at the feeder as well as other animals that came through such as deer, flying bats, rabbits, cats and so many more.
He also loved to help his wife with her love of butterflies, planting milkweed to attract them and then help foster them until they grew into butterflies.
To honor him, memorials may be made to the organizations that were important to her or those important to you.
