John W. Pulver was born in 1966, he was one of those rough and tumble boys that was always into something, good or bad. He grew to love taking things apart, and sometimes putting them back together. Which led him to choose a career in the automotive industry, well for a time. He then owned his own landscape business for a while, Specialty Landscapes was his baby, and he ran it as long as he could. John then discovered his final love, which was driving his beloved tow truck. There were many years of hunting, fishing, and being on the open water in his boat before he met his wife Alison which brought him two wonderful children, Kyle and Mackenzie. He took on the role of a great step-father and loved her children as if they were his own. John enjoyed his hunting and fishing time with his beloved wife Alison, and of course his best friend Ethan Carter, through thick and thin those boys were inseparable. When his son Kyle left for the marine corp there was no prouder moment for John. He enjoyed every minute that he was able to spend with Kyle when he came home, whether the boys were finding something to blow up or something to reel in, the boys were always doing something together. We can not forget Mackenzie, they were best buddies from the minute they met. They continued to teach each other many things, through the years. He was so proud of the girl that she had become, and the obstacles that she had overcome. We will never forget the day that John got his beloved Ashley dog, the dog he had waited a lifetime for. She may have only been here a short time, but he was never happier than to hear her howl in the morning. Before she passed she gave him his “grandkids”, good or bad there were 7 of them to keep him occupied until they all found loving homes… Besides the 2 that he kept of course, cause life for John wouldn’t be the same without having Dred and Sissy. Then there is Gizmo, the beagle that he didn’t want, but that he grew to love and they taught each other patience and of course that the dog is always smarter than the master.
