Fairport: Peacefully transitioned into non-physical on October 20, 2016 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Center. She was born in Macedon, NY on December 15, 1926 to the late Lewis Josiah and Mildred Irene (neé Saunders) Robinson. She was named after her father’s mother, Erminnie Frenzora Crandall Robinson (neé Rowell). She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1986 after 41 years of marriage. They were married in Canandaigua, NY on September 1, 1945.
Erminnie was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Norman Robinson, Leona (Charles) Ferrin, Carlton (Lorraine) Robinson, Ethal (Andrew) Clevenger, Merle (Mary) Robinson, Helen Robinson. Survived by son Lewis (Susan) Rhinewald of Greece, NY, grandchildren Jennifer R. Rhinewald of Greece, NY, Matthew G. Rhinewald of Greece, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Erminnie was an avid amateur family genealogist, researching both her family lines and her husband’s. She was a proud member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and also a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairport, N.Y. She worked for several years at the Al Sigl Center of Rochester, NY as the head bookkeep before retiring.
Calling hours, Monday 5-7PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 10AM at White Haven Memorial Park (Meet at Entrance). Donations in her memory may be made to the Fairport Fire Dept.
