Laura Schick, age 26, left this Earthy abode to join her heavenly Father on September 12, 2019. Laura was born in Syracuse New York, and at age 1 moved with her family where she grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta GA. Laura attended the University of North Georgia, and then moved to Rochester NY in 2017 to continue her life passions.
She cherished spending time with family, and especially enjoyed pampering her new love and joy, daughter Emery. Laura had an enthusiasm and joy for life that lit up every event. Her positivity, graceful spirit and sense of humor during both good and tough times were an inspiration to many.
Laura always rooted for New York sports teams like the Syracuse Orange and the New York Giants. She loved animals and always had a cat or dog at her side. Laura’s compassion was to help everyone every day of her life. She was an avid reader and loved her book collection.
Laura is survived by daughter Emery Fennell, partner Anthony Fennell, brothers Michael and Jason Schick, parents Andrew and Kay Schick, grandparents Sidney and Joan Cheney, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services were held at the Richard H Keenan Funeral Home on September 16th.

Her smile would light up a room. She was the first person I had a friendship with in recovery and she saved my life on many occasions. I loved her like a sister and I am deeply saddened by her loss. Life is always changing every moment matters, everything will be different the next. I will cherish all the moments I had with her and regret the years that grew us apart.
She was an awesome woman !! We were friends in recovery in Atlanta. We are all heartbroken here !! Lots of love, prayers, condolences for her family and her beautiful child !! Sincerely, Seamus Costello
