Carol Ann Schrader, 74, of Rochester, NY, passed away at home on February 18, 2023

Carol was born to Clarence Schrader & Laura (Jeffrey) Schrader on November 20, 1948.  She was predeceased by her parents and sibling Gail E (Schrader) Walker.

She is survived by her niece Heather Bryce-Smith & her husband Christopher Smith; niece Jennifer Walker-Murdock & her husband Craig, along with their two children Mackenzie & Grayson; nephew Christopher C Walker and his two sons Alric & Carson.

Carol grew up in Macedon with her parents and sister. She never left the area spending the rest of her life in Rochester.

She graduated from the Palmyra-Macedon High school in 1967.

Over the years she worked for Lollipop Farm, as a bank courier, security & volunteer medic.

Carol was a mother to her many four pawed children, being a lover of poodles. Her most recent being red haired Mackenzie, by whom she is survived.

She was an avid NASCAR fan, following the career of Ken Schrader and the M&M’s car.

All throughout her life she was a supporter of First Responders.  Taking many classes from the local police departments surrounding and including Rochester PD.  Before COVID struck she was part of the Irondeqouit Citizens Academy, PAC/TAC and was on numerous ride along adventures.

Carol was always at the ready to aide anyone who needed help, in any way she could and will be greatly missed.

She enjoyed walking in the park with her “kids”, genealogy with her sister, photography, and .vacations to Maine and Gettysburg.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation & memorial service Monday February 27th at 10:00 am at the White Haven Creation Chapel, interment to follow.
