MACEDON: David C. Schultz went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley; his parents, Charles and Florence Schultz; and his grandson, Steven Brown.
He is survived by his children: Brock Schultz; Todd (Lisa) Schultz; Tammy (Mike) Schultz/ Hickey; Laurie (Mark) Drew; Lisa (Rick) Chavoustie; and LeAnn (Tim) Antinore; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Sharon (Bill) Boyd and Darlene Werlau; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As a young man, David spent much of his free time working on the farm, where he developed a strong work ethic that remained with him throughout his life. He went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career in the tool and die industry, earning respect for his skill and reliability. Fondly known by his neighbors as the “Mayor of County Line,” David had a remarkable ability to connect with others. He was extremely sociable, generous with his time, and always willing to lend a hand or help fix whatever needed attention. Wherever he went, he seemed to know someone—or was happy to strike up a conversation. His happy place was his shop, where he loved working on his tractors and fixing just about anything.
Services will be held on January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at White Haven Memorial Park, All Seasons Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Sycamore Golf Club, 1148 Wayneport Road, Macedon, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
He was loved and will be dearly missed by many.

Such a funny, giving friend
To my dear friend Laurie- sorry for your loss and the loss to your entire family. Dave was such a wonderful loving person and he will be missed! May your hearts fill with warmth and love when you think of Dave and all the memories he left you with . 🥰🥰 May god bless you all and may Dave rest in peace.
Pa was truly one of a kind. From the moment you met him, you felt his warmth, kindness, and genuine love for the people around him. He had a way of making everyone feel special, seen, and welcomed, and his presence alone brought comfort and joy.
To our family, Pa became so much more than a neighbor — he was a bonus grandpa to our children, loving them as if they were his own. His gentle spirit, caring heart, and joyful nature left an imprint on all of us, especially the little ones who were lucky enough to know his love.
Pa’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the smiles he brought, and the love he so freely gave. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his warmth, and the way he made the world around him a better place simply by being in it.
Rest easy, Pa. You will be missed more than words can express, and forever held close in our hearts. 💛

We are so saddened to hear about Dave’s passing. He was quite frankly the “best neighbor” we’ve ever had. I admired his spirit and work ethic. Always willing to lend a hand and he did so much for us over the years. I had some great times talking and getting to him. We will miss him greatly. Our sincere condolences to his family who he mentioned to us often.
Respectfully,
Glenn & Tammy

I worked with Dave and I have to say it was a joy. Everytime you would ask him a question, he would answer with a laugh. It was a pleasure to know him.
Dave was the man!!! He was thoughtful, caring and didn’t mix words! He was a conservative man who took care of things and understood the value of a dollar! He was a merit based man who worked hard for everything. He was a friend a friend would like to have! He set the example to men of how to be a supportive husband, neighbor and friend. I say a prayer every time I go past your house Dave and hope to be half the man you were to yourself and others! LYM DAN
David is my brother and words cannot express how much I miss him. He was always there for me during some difficult times. Wow! What a worker, comedian, and loving soul. I love you David, with all of my heart.
