Frank Sheroshek, born in Carbondale PA, unexpectedly passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 64. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Anna Sheroshek, and father-in-law Carlo Marchioli. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marina Marchioli Sheroshek; sisters Barbara (Frank) Piotrowski, Carol; brother Paul; half-sisters Marianne (late Gene) Yacuboski, Lourdes (late Donald) Christina; mother-in-law Filomena Marchioli; brother-in-law Carmine (Jane) Marchioli; nephews Frank Piotrowski, Joe Piotrowski, Tom Piotrowski, Carlo (Karen) Marchioli, John Marchioli, Mark (Kindra) Christina, Michael (Melinda) Yacuboski, Steven (Tina) Yacuboski; nieces Christine (Daniel) Marchioli Charek, Anna Marchioli, Lynn Christina, Cheryl Yacuboski; and many cousins and friends.

Frank grew up on the Sheroshek Family Rolling Acres Dairy Farm in Forest City, PA.  He graduated valedictorian and was class president of the Forest City Regional High School Class of 1979.  With a scholarship, he attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy NY and received his Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration degrees from the University of Rochester in Rochester NY.  He was employed as a Senior Applications Engineer at SPX Flow/Lightnin Mixers in Rochester NY for over 20 years.  

While in Rochester Frank met Marina, the light of his life. The two lived in Fairport, NY appreciating the village and canal.  Frank will be remembered for: his sense of humor; his big heart; his love of the Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, Rochester Festivals, New York State Fair, Landmark breakfasts, movies, and coffee shops with Jamaican Me Crazy coffee. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Calling Hours will be on Monday, July 21st from 10am – 11am with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11:15am both at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Avenue, Fairport, NY. Entombment will be immediately after at White Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Marina Sheroshek for the Sheroshek Family Rolling Acres Dairy Farm in Forest City, PA.
