Maureen P. Sidor of Penfield, NY on October 26, 2021 in her 84th year.
Maureen was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Sidor. She was survived by Steven (Maria) Sidor, Susan (Jeff) McGuigan, Sharon Baltera, Bobby Sidor, and Kim (Rich) Tretola.
Cherished Grandmother to Erin (Brendan) Gorman, Robbie (Keeley) Baltera, Kevin (Stephanie) McGuigan, Lindsay (Zack) Hermayer, Allison Sidor, Matthew Baltera, Lauren (Peter) Manning, Jason Sidor, Skye Tretola, Kori Kimbrough, Coral and Trinity Tretola.
Adored Great Grandmother to Flynn, Chesney, Cormac, Murphy, and Marcus.

As a working mother almost 28 years ago I was fortunate to meet Maureen and she provided daycare for my newborn son Eric. Little did I know that Maureen would become like a “grandmother” to him. Maureen cared for Eric from the time he was about 10 weeks old until his middle school years. Even as Eric went off to college and beyond we would keep in touch through phone calls and have lunch or dinner when he was home visiting for the holidays. She would always tell me how special he was to her and how she loved him. The feeling was mutual. We loved her dearly. While our hearts ache, I am forever grateful to her for caring for my baby boy and helping to make him the man he is today. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Maureen was part of our village and for that I am forever thankful. I wish every mother and child could have a Maureen in their lives.
