Ann S. Smith
Ann died peacefully at home with her family following a long illness.
She was a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Nursing, proud mother of five sons; Jeffery J. Smith , DVM, (Sheri), Maj. Kristian C. Smith, USA , retired, (Kristy), Andrew W. Smith, M.D., Matthew N. Smith, M.D., D.D.S., (Joanne), Mark S. Smith, J.D. (Teri), 10 grandchildren, and her loving husband of 64 years, Warren D. Smith, M.D. She was an extraordinary mother, wife, and daughter who was loved by a far reaching group of friends.
She dedicated many years of service as a nurse at the Genesee Hospital Emergency Room , and volunteer at The Rochester Eye Bank, and The Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

What a wonderful nurse, and leader. She left a legacy to remember. Her sons are incredible as well! She will be in my heart always!

So. sorry for your loss. Ann was such a great person and a wonderful nurse! We had so many good times at the Genesee ED. Loved her stories!Even had to get an Electrolux vaccum because of her! She will be greatly missed!
