Smith, Randolph (Randy) Russell

Perinton: Died peacefully on December 24th, from injuries sustained after a fall.  He was born on July 30, 1944, in New York City, grew up in East Meadow in Long Island, and spent nearly 40 years raising his family on Dover Road in Wantagh.  He attended Nassau County Community College, majoring in chemistry, and worked for over 35 years atthe Queens College Chemistry Department as Director of Laboratories. Randy enjoyed golf and also played, coached and refereed soccer. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Catherine, revered father to son Sean Smith, daughter and son-in-law Donna Jeanne and Rick Wells, loving brother to Barbara-Helene Smith, and adored PopPop to five grandchildren: Cade Smith, Tyler Wood, Sean Michael Smith, and Ashley Wells and Jameson Wells, all of Fairport.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7PM on Friday, January 3rd at The Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, (VILLAGE LOCATION) 41 S. Main Street, Fairport. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 4th at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Avenue, Fairport.
