Stapley, Howard A. III

Fairport: Passed away Sept. 11, 2014 at age 55 after a year-long battle with neuro endocrine pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Elizabeth Stapley, Jr., spouse, Sally Stapley, children, Howard Stapley, IV and Bethany Stapley, constant companion GoGo, sisters Suzanne (Scott) Davis, Edie (Jay) DeFilippis and their children, Jaime, David, and Elizabeth, and many other relatives, special friends, neighbors, and work colleagues. He is also survived by his extended families, the Rochester Harley Owners Group and the Buffalo Bills Red Pinto Tailgate. Howard (or Dack as he was known to many) was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was happiest when he was riding his ‘04 Electra Glide or ’81 Low Rider for both long trips or just around town. He was proud to be a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a lifelong NY Yankees fan and an adopted Buffalo Bills fan when he moved to WNY 18 years ago.

Friends may call Mon., Sept. 15 from 4pm-7pm at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport. A funeral service will he held in the same location Tues., Sept. 16 at 9:30am. Interment Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo. The family would like to thank the staff of Wilmot Cancer Center/URM, Life time Care Home Health, and the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for their professional and loving care provided over the last year.     Sally and all of Dack’s family,

    My thoughts are with you all. Dack was a great guy and will be missed by so many…. but we all still have memories of the good times, which will always be with us.
