Andrew Stromfeld peacefully passed away at home on March 29 with his wife Jodi by his side at the age of 60.
He was predeceased by his mothers Carol and Marilyn. Survived by his father Charles Stromfeld  and sister Susan Muniz. Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.

Andy loved music. As a young man he was a roadie for a local Long Island band which he love to do. As he got older he became Security at Jones Beach Theater for their summer concerts where he met his wife. He and the “choir boys” had a lot of fun. He loved his rock ‘n’ roll but after 20 years of marriage and listening to country music he said his wife ruined him as he now had a preset in his truck for country music and listened to it often, LOL.
He loved vacationing with his wife going throughout the country seeing nature.

As a retired NYPD ESU Officer and volunteer firefighter, Andy was passionate about helping others. Someone recently said if you were having your worst day, you would want Andy to be with you. He was calm in a storm.

Visitation will be held at Richard H Keenan Funeral Home at 7501 Pittsford -Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY on April 8 at 10am -12pm and 4pm – 6pm. Due to COVID restrictions a small family Funeral service will be held. Interment to follow at White Haven Cemetery.  A celebration of his life will occur later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American cancer society, The Feel Good Foundation or The FASNY Firemen’s Home.

Proud to call you Uncle & Friend.
Thank you for your years of Love, Laughter, Fun, Conversation & Protection.
For paying attention & noticing the small things that meant everything.
For it is when others see value in us, that we are then able to see it in ourselves.
    Thank you for fighting.
Even as you were slipping away, I watched you hold death off.
You just may have been cancer’s greatest opponent, and even though it has taken your body, it can never take your indomitable spirit nor love.
Look out Saint Michael, Andrew Stromfeld will be implementing some changes & prove to be the greatest of leaders among your army of angels.
And if there are roads in heaven, may they all be off-road, Jeep friendly trails…
I promise to be to as strong as an Anvil. I love you!

Sending condolences to the Stromfeld family for your loss . Although I didn’t know him personally, I know what dedication it takes to be a police officer and a fire chief. I hope that the family finds comfort that there is no more pain or struggle for him anymore.
