My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family especially mom Cathy. It was a pleasure to meet you, get to know you and care for you bill. May you Rest peacefully.
This was an awesome young man to care for , while it was heartbreaking to see a young man suffer as he did… He behaved like a brother to us, loved to joke and play around… Like the day he grabbed my chips and held them up in the air. While I was jumping to grab them asking for them back. He thought that was funny… He really had a place in all of our heart who cared for him. Truly a blessing to meet him and his beautiful family.
You were an angel here, and now you’re a real one. It was an honor to know you, spend time with you, watch you play football at Ithaca, and catch a glimpse of your great spirit, sending you love Billy,
I can only imagine who Billy was before his diagnosis that led him into my life. He managed to touch us all of at homestead in a special way. I can not thank you Mom Cathy enough for allowing me to a part of this young mans life and for sharing him with us. I know I speak for all of us that homestead when I say he made some of the hard days better by doing something to make us laugh or just thinking how we wish we had the energy he had. You all hold a special place in my heart and I am sending lots of love to you during this hard time.

I am very sad to hear this news, I worked in supply for the Homestead. In my travels I would see Billy- with his smile- running around. I was touched by the love his family showed him. He will be missed by all. May he rest in peace and my sympathies to his family and friends.
