Taube, Drusilla (Dee)

Drusilla (Dee) Taube passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

Predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret (Peggy) Moran, and her loving son, Lawrence (Larry) Taube. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Ed) Gilligan, granddaughters, Lexi and Maggie Gilligan, Goddaughter, Diane Snyder, and many close cousins.

Her family wishes to thank Suzanne Underhill and all the loving and compassionate volunteers at Light Hill Comfort Care Home in Canandaigua, NY. We are forever grateful for those that filled her last days with loving embraces and spiritual prayers and gave her the opportunity to pass into the next life with dignity.

We would also like to thank and acknowledge her many friends and family for their support and prayers during the difficult times.

Calling Hours will be at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location) at 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport, New York, 14450 on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2-4PM. The Funeral Service will be Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1PM at St. John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, New York, 14450.

  1. So sorry for your loss. Dee was a very special woman, and I’m so fortunate to have known her for just a short while, She had such a beautiful softness about her. She will be greatly missed!

    My heart goes out to you Kelly. We ( your Aunt Louise’s Family) had no idea she passed until Uncle Sam saw the Funeral Notice in the paper today. Otherwise we would have been there. May God Bless her eternal soul,
