Vanderstyne, Gerald (Jerry) P. Sr.

Victor: Age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family on June 7, 2019.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years (Norma); children Judy (Mike) Colling, Jaclyn (Roger) Mead, and Gerald (Jay) (Julie) Vanderstyne Jr.; grandchildren Brent (Kelly), Darryl (Jennifer), Lisa, Jason (Kelly), Megan (Christopher), Gerald III (Jay-Jay) (fiance Alexandra), Carra, Jenee; and 8 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents and brother (Robert).

Jerry was discharged honorably from the Airforce after serving in the Korean War. He was a successful business man, operating several dealerships since 1966. Jerry was the owner of Transitowne Dodge in Williamsville, NY. He opened Vanderstyne Ford, in Greece, NY, in August of 1967. Jay and his son, Jay Jay (2nd and 3rd generation), are present owners of Vanderstyne Toyota in Greece, NY.

A private memorial service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may send donations to Ontario-Yates hospice (a program of UR Medicine Home Care) 756 Pre Emption Rd, Geneva, NY 14456-1336.
