It was my honor to have known this man of class and distinction through my friendship with his charming wife JoAnn. Always ready with a joke, his warmth and wonderful humor quickly made the three of us great friends. He was a true gentleman and touched the lives of everyone around him. I know he’ll be holding court in Heaven with his one liners!
Dear Joanne, Jackie, Laurie & families: we are sorry to hear about Uncle Jack. He always made the trip down to Long Island for one of the weddings and shared his good dance moves and a good joke. Rest In Peace. Love Marybeth, Ted, Delaney & Peyton

Dear Aunt Joanne, Jackie, Laurie and family My sincerest condolences on your loss. May cherished memories comfort you at this time Sincerely Rick
Dear Joanne, We send our sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. Before we moved to Forest Hills we knew Jack when he refereed our boys in Biddy Basketball. It was a league for 5th through eighth grade. He taught them the rules right away–he was firm but fair. He treated them like the athletes they would become. He expected respect and he gave it back. Excellent ref. Then we moved to Forest Hills and learned a whole new category of excellence– yard and lawn care! What an example for our neighborhood! We will try to carry on his tradition but he will be hard to beat. Take care of yourself, Joanne.
My memories of Jack are from our days at Xerox – quite a few years ago now. But after reading of Jack’s passing, those memories reminded me how positively he touched so many lives at Xerox- along with you JoAnn. I just wanted you to know that you and Jack are remembered and will be in our prayers.
Joanne, thinking of you and the family at this time. So pleased to have known and loved Jack too.
