A Beautiful Life
A beautiful life
That came to an end
She died as she lived
Everyone’s friend
In our hearts a memory
Will always be kept
Of one we loved
And will never forget.
Rest in Peace Courtney
I have followed Courney’s story on Facebook. My deepest sympathy for your loss. My heart breaks for your family. Courtney inspired so many people whether they knew her or not. Her story inspired me to write this tribute:
“Beautiful Courtney, the angel said,
As she took her by the hand.
“I’ve come to lead you on your journey,
To the promised land.”
“You fought long and hard to win this fight,
The battle has been long,
You’ve shown great courage through it all,
And kept your family strong.”
Courtney sat up in her bed,
And opened up her eyes,
She rose up to the angels side,
And much to her surprise,
When she looked down she saw herself,
So peaceful laying there,
“Fear not,” said the angel
As she whispered in her ear.
Though your body stays behind,
Your spirit carries on,
For your life hasn’t ended,
It’s only just begun.”
You’ll live now with the angels,
And Lord Jesus will be near,
You’ll live in thoughts and memories,
Of those who held you dear.”
“You’ll visit loved one’s in their dreams,
You’ll fill them with your light,
They’ll know that your finally at peace,
In God’s everlasting light.”
And with that she took Courtney,
To heaven up above,
And we’ll always remember,
And think of her with love.
May God bless Courtney and her family.
With heartfelt condolences,
Cathy Jacque
