Fairport – October 17, 1921 – December 11, 2018

Nancy E. Welch, age 97, passed away peacefully after a three week illness,
the morning of December 11th with her son by her side. Incredible, loving Mother of son,
James Patrick Welch and daughter, Pamela Ann Keiffer. Devoted grandmother to
Granddaughters, Maren Alexis Welch and Lisa Marie Keiffer.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Nancy was a student of life and the many
friends and people around her. Tennis instructor, figure skater, skier, golfer, naturalist
and most importantly: an active member of the Oasis Tappers these past 17 years.
Her many friends in that organization will recall her ready smile and mourn her passing.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations
in Nancy’s memory may be made to Lollypop Farm. Arrangements have been entrusted to
the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Fairport.

Nancy lived a full, active and happy life for 97 years. And when she couldn’t
live that life anymore, she quietly left this earth. Merry Christmas, Mom!
All of us—birds, dogs, deer and humans alike—love you very much!

I’m sorry I didn’t meet you, but I feel I have. Your granddaughter has shared many a stories about the miss whom shared the same name as my own grandmother.
I’ve yet to see a picture of you in which you aren’t smiling, so keep smiling away.

Met Nancy many years ago at Midtown Tennis while participating in the Tennis 50 program. Have enjoyed her friendship these many years. A really fun lady.
