Mary Wilkins-93 of Ovid, NY passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 9th,2025. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence J Wilkins; stepson Stanley; her parents John and Anna Keenan and a sister-in-law Sally Keenan.  Mary is survived by her daughter Gloria (Jack)Fulton; grandchildren Carrie Whitney and Jason Fulton; 4 great grandchildren Ethan and Owen Fulton, Reese and Reagan Whitney; brothers Richard and John Keenan; sister-in-law Theresa Keenan; nieces and nephew; great-nieces and great-nephews and many dear friends.

Mary was a wonderful loving mom, grandmother and amazing great grandmother of four great grandchildren that loved her in so many ways. They fondly gave her the nickname of “Cottonswab” for her beautiful white hair. She was a kindhearted person that made friends anywhere she traveled throughout her life. Mary will be remembered by her family for all her love and affection that in many, many ways her life blessed theirs.

There will be a private family gathering at the Richard H Keenan Funeral Home( Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport ,Saturday, September 13th.  Mary’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 15th @ 11:00 am at the Holy Cross Church in Ovid, NY 14521. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Ovid.

    • So sorry to hear of my Aunt Mary’s passing. My first memory of her was at her wedding to my Uncle Lawrence. She raised my cousin Gloria as her own daughter from a very early age. RIP, Aunt Mary.

  5. Loved my Aunt Mary. One of my fondest memories was when she married Uncle Lawrence and became a part of our family. I will always remember her for her big heart and that she was a great mother to Gloria. RIP Aunt Mary and give my love to Uncle Lawrence.

  10. I always loved seeing Mary at Dr. Oleksa’s office. We all did! She was always fun to chat with and we shared many laughs. She was a great lady and I will miss her. Shannon
