Macedon- On December 7th, 2022, age 92. Predeceased by his parents, George and Eva Williams; brothers, David and Leamon. Survived by his wife, lover, and best friend of 50 years , Lois Gilbert, his sons Tim and Brian Williams, Todd (Arlene) Acciari, daughter Kristin (David Roberts) Hart and Elizabeth (Charles Segard) Manning.; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 faithful canines Slade, Sidney and Eoghan; one cat, Idabell.
Darel was a proud Navy veteran of 7 years, employed at Marine Midland Bank for 37 years and a greeter at Macedon Walmart for 10 years. He loved to plant bulbs in the fall and enjoy their beauty in the spring. He was a member of Alcoholic Anonymous with 51 years of sobriety.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday, 12/12/22, 11:00am-1:00pm with service to immediately follow at Keenans Funeral Home 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd. Fairport, NY 14450. Burial at Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Fairport, NY in in the spring. Donations in Darel’s memory may be made to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.

As a Navy vet and Friend of Bill W, we had so much in common. I loved being greeted by Darrel when I went to Walmart. May God bless him and his entire family
