Ann Louise Wilson (Morrissey)
Greece NY, Age 94
July 2, 1929 – October 26, 2023 – Ann (aka Mom, Gram, Annie Baby) is predeceased, by her parents Mary Morrissey and Paul Salerno, her husband Harry H. Wilson and her son Donald P. Wilson. She is survived by her daughter Diane (Stewart Love) Schaber, daughter-in-law Mary Ann Wilson, her grandchildren Brett (Megan) Schaber, Lauren (Dylan) Hogan, her Great-Grandchild Sophie Ann, much more family and her dear friends.
Ann was born and raised in Ovid, NY. After her father passed at a young age, she was raised by her Grandma Morrissey, Mother Mary and her Aunt Anna alongside her cousins, she considered siblings, Mary, Dicky, and Johnny.
It was there she met and fell in love with her Husband Harry after he returned to the Navy base stationed nearby following his service in WWII.
They had two beautiful children, were devoted to their family and friends, loved to golf, play cards, travel and danced (the jitterbug) through 35 years of life together.
When that chapter abruptly closed following the passing of her Husband, she turned the page and found comfort by focusing her love and support to her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Ann embraced adversity. She kept smiling, laughing, golfing and playing cards with her loved ones. And when her grandchildren were old enough, she even taught them how to play.
Ann instilled so much faith, strength, love and support in her family and friends. Not through words, but through actions (and so much laughter) which helped her persevere through the many challenges she faced through her own life. Ann was selfless, a bright light, and an inspiration to anyone who knew her.
Ann’s life stories will be shared and celebrated at her Memorial Service on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10:00am at Saint Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd, Rochester, NY. Interment following.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her honor to Mount Carmel House:

Diane,
I’m heart broken for you and your family. I know how much your mother loved and cherished you. I’ve always enjoyed seeing her photos and occasionally seeing you with her at Van Putte’s. She lived a long life surrounded by a very loving family and friends. The many memories will live on in your heart. May she rest in peace.
Dear Diane – Steve and I send our condolences to you and your family. I remember how loving and sweet she was! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
