Richard (Dick) Thomas Wisotzke 76, of Rochester, NY, died suddenly, November 23, 2020.
Dick was born on March 9, 1944, in Rochester, NY, to Elmer and Betty Wisotzke.
He attended John Marshall High School in Rochester and graduated in 1961. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964 and soon after became a successful entrepreneur before retiring.
He is survived by his wife Kim Wisotzke, son Rick (Myra), Jill (Troy), Jeff (Sarah Gentry), siblings Bill (Colleen), Beth Hodgeman, Kathy Hennig (Ernie), John (Tracy) and many friends considered family.
Dick’s zest for life was undeniable! He lived a great life, full of fun and laughter. He was the life of the party, loved to banter when playing golf, was a loyal friend, loving father, and an excellent provider.
He marched to the beat of his own drum and if he were told things were to be done a certain way, his attitude was, “watch me prove otherwise!” He was a charismatic and boisterous man who had a hard shell and a soft heart. His long line of friendships is a testament to his loyalty and magnetic presence!
While we are all deeply saddened by his loss, Dick went on his own terms…. without regrets and on one heck of a ride! He once told a friend, “Life is to be lived, and so I did!”
Due to the COVID pandemic, no arrangements are scheduled at this time.
