As my Massena, NY Grove Street younger neighbor…I remember Bob “Woody” in snowball fights, horse rides, putting out vacant lot grass fires, cal.22 rifle marksmanship (he was a poor shot) plus discussions on which US military branch was the best ! Bob entered the Navy (1962)..as I entered active US Army duty. Bob’s sense of humor and positive attitude was never equaled by any of us on Grove Street !! Our condolences on Bob’s passing !!

I was shocked to read of Woody’s passing. He was tough, and he was funny. I always enjoyed running into him at Martha Brown. Condolences to Sue and all of family.
