Janet was born on 5/14/1932 and passed away on 8/2/2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Predeceased by her husband, Charles. She is survived by her children Carol (Enrique) Rosario, Chuck(Jen) Yaeger and Christine Easley and her grandchildren, Charles (Rachel) Yaeger, Dylan Yaeger, Tyler (Maryna) Castelli, Nick (Kayla) Castelli, Marion Easley, Jamie (Val Cole) Easley, Tim Easley, Emma Easley along with her 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Cocchiara and many, many loved nephews, nieces and friends.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday August 7th from 3:00-5:00pm at Keenan Funeral Home 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd. Fairport, NY 14450
A mass to celebrate Janet’s life will be held on Saturday August 8th at 10:00am at St John of Rochester 8 Wickford Way Fairport NY. The Mass will also be livestreamed at https://stjohnfairport.org/streaming.
Internment will be private for the family. Donations in Janet’s name can be directed to UR Medicine Home Care Hospice Foundation Box 270032 Rochester NY 14627-0032 or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Janet’s influence on her children and grandchildren was apparent by how they spoke of her with such respect and love.
