Peters, Earnest “Ernie” H.

Earnest passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at the age of 75. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Barbara Peters; Sister, Susan Thorton. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years of marriage, Shirley (Ricci) Peters, Children; Kevin Peters (Kathy); Jeffrey Peters (Jessica); Grandchildren Jackson,  Abigail and Jordan Peters; Mother-In-Law Antoinette Ricci; Brother in Law James A. Ricci (Lisa); Siblings Linda Sawyer; Bruce  (Annette) Peters; Michael (Laurie) Peters and several Nieces and Nephews. 

Calling Hours Monday January 23, 2023 4-6PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral Service Tuesday January 24, 2023 11AM at White Haven Memorial Park All Seasons Chapel 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.

Ernie served in Vietnam and upon returning home accepted a job working for Wegmans Food Market. He put in 54 years and was headed out the door to work when he passed. He was well known for his kindness, compassion, sense of humor, and the love for his family. Ernie will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

    Sorry to hear the passing of Ernie I worked with Ernie many years in the meat department. It was a pleasurer to work with Ernie he was made to work for Wegmans.

  6. Never met your dad buddy, but all this wonderful people talking so high and with so much love about him makes me believe what a wonderful man ,dad, friend and grandpa he was. For sure you got a lot of him in yourself, kind, generous and positive way to see life. May love and good memories comfort you in some ways. Love you brother… ❤️
