Bernice V. Hatfield 80, a resident of Tampa FL, passed away peacefully in Fairport NY on Dec 28, 2020. She was born in Auburn, NY and graduated from Albany State University with a bachelor’s degree in education.
She was a strong woman of faith and lived to gather with her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their various events. She touched many lives with her vibrant personality and great wisdom.
Bernice is survived by her beloved Daughters, Tammy Lane, Tania Beisheim (and her husband Richard), and Terri Stenglein; Son Ty Kahler (and his wife Chanthy); 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Tori, Tara, Trey, Tia and Ty R.; Sister Mary Morrow and Brothers Dennis and Manley Shaver. She was predeceased by her Parents Harland and Esther Shaver and Brother Thomas Shaver.
The Covid situation has made gathering outside of immediate family difficult so a celebration of Bernice’s life will be postponed until a later time to be determined when we can all get together. *As I set here wondering why
*Looking up at the great big sky
*Listening waiting for God’s reply
*He said “Dear child I have not passed you by”
* I am here in the darkness nights
*I am here in the brightness day lights.
* I am here as you cry and some day you will know the reason why.
* Trust in me as I trust in you.
* Have faith that I will pull you through.
*Be strong in the words I have given you today.
*And know in your heart it will all be ok…Amen
