Penfield: Died suddenly August 12, 2016, at age 71. Survived by husband, Thomas; children, Jane (Robert) Merlo, Paul, and Carol; sister, Patricia (David) Weisensel; grandchildren, Sam, Charlie, & Natalie. Dawn touched many lives. Everyone knew her as an upbeat and energetic person. She was devoted to her family and to helping others. She was a lifelong learner, avid reader, quilter, lover of music, and a world traveler. She will be sorely missed.
Calling hours, Monday, 4-7 PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., (Egypt location) Fairport. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rochester School for the Deaf or the Hochstein School of Music & Dance.
