Beato, Joseph

Fairport: Feb. 6, 2015. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Pauline; infant daughter, Linda Christine; parents, Nicola & Teresa (Tiberio); sister, Angela; brother, Amedeo; and nephew, David Pietrosante. He is survived by loving children, Theresa (Frank) D’Amico, Rita (Fran) Rein; his cherished grandchildren, Michael, David, Paulina & Mitchell; brother-in-law, Samuel (Marilyn) Pietrosante; and many more relatives & close friends here and in Italy. Also survived by his faithful companion, Kennedy, who stood guard by his side through his final days.

Joe worked in the Paper Mill in East Rochester, then at Xerox in Webster, where he was proud to be an inspector. He enjoyed winterirg in Cocoa Beach, FL. hunting, fishing, growing an amazing vegetable garden, and especially making hundreds of bottles of wine yearly and winning dozens of medals in the NYS Wine Competition. His love of the outdoors, and sharing of good food and wine will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Jerome’s Church, East Rochester. Entombment, White Haven.
