Beisheim, Margaret S.

Perinton – On Oct. 19, 2019, Margaret Beisheim, nee Schwab, died after a short illness. She was 88. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 64 years, James. She is survived by her five children: Cheryl (James), Ann (Alan), Katherine (Steven), James Jr. (Melissa), and Melissa (Steven); her nine grandchildren:Matthew (Christina), Andrew, Jaclyn, Alyssa, Brian, Arianna, Julie, Alexander, and Michael; and her two great grandchildren.
She will forever be remembered for her kind, nurturing ways; her stoic stubbornness; her intelligence, and quickness to laugh at her husband’s – and anyone’s, really – jokes. She was a voracious reader who also loved British mystery movies and the Hallmark Channel. Anyone who had the fortune to partake of one of her meals was nourished by her love and her talent for cooking and baking. She devoted herself to her family and every birthday and Christmas found just that perfect gift to solve a need or bring a smile and a laugh. She was a talented crafter, cake decorator, cross-stitcher, and painter on the works of art her husband would create in wood. She was independent and as sharp as a tack until the very end.
The family will hold a private memorial service at the beginning of November.
Margaret read for many years to the blind at WXXI radio, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Reach Out Radio.

Melissa,I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s death. We would keep in touch each Christmas with a card and a Very long note I enjoyed getting her card each year. No matter how old they are when we lose them, it hurts.I am thinking and praying for you and all of your family.
