Bilak, Elizabeth (Murphy) “Betty”

East Rochester: July 5, 2017. Betty is predeceased by loving husband of 59 years Michael Bilak; survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Michele & George Stegman, Amy & Pete Matroniano, Nancy & Karl Kohn; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel & Deborah Bilak, Timothy & Paula Bilak, Steven Bilak & Lauri Bilak; grandchildren Amanda and Joshua Volpe, Katelyn Stegman (Bill Walker), Danielle and Daniel Barber, Nicole and Chris Kowalski, Michael Matroniano (Megan Trendowski), Ryan Bilak (Megan Gunio), Matthew Bilak, Jamie & Natalie Kohn and six  great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of the Friendly Home for their dedicated service and friendship to Betty over the past few years. Betty was a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Dietetics, was an avid painter and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her as the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Betty’s funeral services will be private with burial at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rochester and Finger Lakes Region Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor.
