Jimmy passed away on September 1, 2023, with his loving son, Homer Bostian by his side.  Affectionately known to his good friends as “Jimbo.” Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Irene; siblings Danny Bostian, Larry Bostian, Richard Bostian, Linda Bostian, and John Bostian. He is survived by his two sons, Homer and Jamie Bostian; sister-in-law Millie Bostian; close nephews & nieces Todd (Kelly) Bostian, Erik (Erin) Bostian, Mitch Bostian, Bobby (Lona) Elliott, Vikki Elliott, and Steve Elliott; many grandnephews and grandnieces; His step-son Michael Moore, who he always loved; and many close friends.  

Jim graduated from Fairport High School; after high school, he enlisted in the US Army and started a family. Avid outdoorsman and happiest either in the woods, hunting or on the water, fishing. Loved playing Euchre, especially at family gatherings and always loved spending time at Crystal Lake fishing for walleye. 

Calling Hours Wednesday September 13, 2023 4-6PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. A Funeral Service will immediately follow.

    It was an honor getting to know your Dad. My favorite memories of him was when I could make him laugh. One time when we were looking out the window I said to him, “ I wonder what the sunset is going to look like tonight?” He replied, “ A sunset” lol! I loved your Dad. My heart is with you all xoxo

    Jimmy always made me laugh, he loved it when I made squirrel stew for the first time. He was a wonderful guy and I am so blessed to call him friend. Fly free Jimmy
