I grew up with Karen and we were friends in high school. She was such a nice girl and sweet. She was a good athlete and I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers and sympathies for her family and children.

Hello Mr. Carlsen, I am so sorry to hear of your daughter’s passing, I did not have the pleasure of knowing her but I do know that you have played an instrumental part in my life and the lives of so many others who passed through East High school doors. I wish comfort and healing for you and your wife at this difficult time.

Gail, thank you for your nice comments. It’s exactly on month since Karen’s passing and the pain and anguish doesn’t seem to lessen from the loss of Karen. Our family will never be the same but I hope it will somewhat go back to normalcy. Hope both of you are healthy..
