Charismatic, friendly, dedicated, beautiful, bright and the best mother… when you think of Jaime Colling-Bello, those are just a few of the words that come to mind. She lit up every room she entered, and her loving personality shone onto everyone who knew her.
Unfortunately, the world lost one of its brightest lights on April 12, 2021, when Jaime unexpectedly passed away. She is survived by her ex-husband Tom Bello, and their two children, Samantha and Thomas; parents Brian and Sharon; sister Tracy; brother Brian (KC “Snoop”); nephews Nathan, Brandon and William; niece Kaylee; long-time partner, Justin Lucci; beloved uncle Bobby; and many other family members and friends.
Born on September 1, 1976, Jaime was a happy, bubbly and loving child to everyone she met. She is remembered as being “so cute, you just had to hug her.” She played as a softball catcher for Fairport High School, where she graduated in 1995, and at SUNY Oneonta.
Jaime began her career at Wegmans in 1992 in the Bakery department. On her first day on the job, Tracy told her, “I’m not your sister here. We’re coworkers. Don’t embarrass me.” At the time of her passing, Jaime was a Store Manager at Ocean New Jersey. She was a dedicated, hard-working employee who was beloved by her colleagues and friends.
Jaime’s most cherished role was being a mother. Samantha and Thomas were the center of her world, and everything she did was for them.
In her free time, Jaime loved to go to Pearl Jam concerts with her dad, Brian and KC. The concerts took them to places like Florida, Detroit, New York City and Italy. She also enjoyed the family’s yearly vacations to Ocean City, New Jersey. She had a very close relationship with both of her parents. Her mom was one of her best friends, and she and her dad enjoyed stargazing together at night.
Jaime’s biggest joy was to help others before herself. Her selfless, loving, kind and open spirit will live on in her children, her family members and her friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Calling hours are Monday, April 19, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home at 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road in Fairport. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Jaime’s family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.

Jaime was the spark of life at Wegmans, and surely the spark of life for all who came in contact with her. I will miss her smiling face.
I am a customer at Wegman’s Ocean Twp. and every Saturday morning I would look forward to my chats with Jaime during my shopping trip. Jaime always had a kind and friendly word for me, no matter how busy she was at work. She once told me she was looking forward to going “away” with her kids for Christmas, to her parents home to spend the holidays. Her family was her life and even during our brief encounters I realized what a great parent and person she was. She left such an impression.
Words fail to describe the tremendous loss we feel as a result of your passing. My brother was lucky to have met you and your children are so special to us. We will always watch over them and preserve your memory in their hearts and minds. They will always be reminded of what a caring, beautiful, and special person you were. I know you will always watch over them and guide Tommy, Sam and Thomas from above. Rest in Peace Sweet Jaime.
