Connal, Robert P., Jr

​Pittsford: December 14, 2016. Predeceased by his wife Doris, parents, Arlene & Robert Connal and sister, Betty Ott Aldrich. Survivors include, sister, Joanne; children, Bob III (Sue), Anne (Mike) Biron and Bill (Kim); grandchildren, Kacie, Pearce, Brett Connal; Eileen and Ryan Connal; Sarah and Dan Biron; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bev & Al Longwell; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob lived a vigorous 89 years and had many hobbies that kept him active – gardening, sailing, wood working, Pittsford Musicals, and poker and bowling with his fellow teachers. Dementia in his later years was heart-breaking but Bob’s family is thankful to the many caregivers at Brookdale Pittsford and Crest Manor who helped make his final years meaningful. We are especially thankful to friend, Susan Doran, whose humor, advice, and care for both Bob and Dorie, helped us as we navigated through aging and dementia.
Bob’s family will celebrate his life at a private event. If moved to do so, please consider a donation to YMCA Camp Cory. Bob worked at Cory for many years as an adult during the summer.
