Joan Dell (nee, Gordon), the beloved spouse to William, mother of Paul and her late daughter Lisa, grandmother to Liam and Nathaniel, mother-in-law to Jennifer and step-grandmother to Valerie. She is also survived by her sisters Maryann (Ronald, deceased), Lucille (David) and Linda (Charles) and many nieces and nephews. Joanie was a dedicated public servant, having taught in both the Buffalo Public Schools and East Irondequoit Public Schools. Joanie was a special education school teacher, a church lecturer, first communion teacher and so much more. Joan is best remembered for her beautiful smile, easy laugh and kind words for every child she met. Friends and family are invited to mass in her memory to be held at Church of the Assumption, on May 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. located at 20 East Avenue in Fairport, New York. A repast will be held immediately following the services at the church. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Lollipop farm at https://www.lollypop.org

I remember Joan so well from the McQuaid parents plays , etc. . Joan was a lovely gal and a lot of fun…
