DiRisio, Anthony “Tony”

Fairport: February 2, 1916 – September 9, 2013. At the age of 97. Survived by his beloved and devoted Wife Josephine; children Rosanne (Donald) Peterson & Anthony (Sharon) DiRisio; Grandchildren, Toni Marie, Danielle (Jacob Vivlamore), Marc & Joseph Peterson; Michael, Eric, Nathan & Anthony J. DiRisio; Cherished Great-grandchild Levi Jacob Viviamore. Also survived by his brother Enrico DiRisio of Niagara Falls Canada; sister in laws, nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by brother William & sister Isabina.

Anthony was born in Casabordino, Italy to Rosa and Luigui DiRisio. He came to Fairport, NY with his brother William at the age of 14. He was a Militany Sergeant Technician in the U.S. Army World War ll. As a young man he worked for the New York Central Railroad
and the Railroad Car Shop in East Rochester. Tony and his brother William started a building business and built homes in the Fairport and Perinton area. Tony was proud to be a member of Church of the Assumption Parish in Fairport where he served in past years as
a Eucharistic Minister.

Friends may call 4-7 Friday at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral
Mass, Saturday 9 AM at Church of the Assumption, Fairport. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Assumption, Fairport, NY.
