Edith Irene Driscoll (Good)

Fairport NY Age 88

Oct 26, 1934 – Oct 22, 2023. Edie is predeceased, by her parents Martha & Frank Good, and her siblings David Good and Carol Ferringer. She is survived by her children Dana (Dawn) Driscoll, Gregory (Diana) Driscoll, Eric (Anne) Driscoll and Amy Driscoll, grandchildren Patrick (Priya) Driscoll, Julie (Michael) Brennan, Katie Driscoll, Lauren Driscoll and Reilly O’Brien, Great-Grandchildren Deven, Maeleigh, Mick and many other family and friends.

Edie was born and raised in Ionia, NY.  A graduate of Rochester Business Institute, she began her career at Eastman Kodak Company.  A longtime legal secretary, Edie worked at Harris Beach and Underberg & Kessler before retiring in 2009.  Edie cherished spending time with her four children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as her many extended friends.  As she said it best, ”Edie Good is good.”

Edith instilled tenacity in her family, not by talking about it, but by her actions, that helped her persevere through the many challenges she faced through her life.

A Memorial Service and internment will be held at White Haven Memorial Park, All Seasons Chapel, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 1pm.

    Dana, Dawn and family,
    So sorry to learn your Mom, Edie passed. She left a beautiful legacy to the family. A good, kind person. Even though we hadn’t seen her in a few years we remember her well! Peace be with you all!

    I worked with Edie for many years at U&K and she was a constant source of light and inspiration. I adored her spunky nature and will forever remember that smile. I am very sorry for your loss and grateful to have known her.
