Penfield – August 14, 2018 at age 95.

Predeceased by his wife of 60 years Alice; sisters & spouses Helen (Lawton) Meachum, Mary Agnes (Helm) Walls, Mabel (Bernard) Jarboe & Virginia (Harmon) Borkenheim.

Survived by his daughters, Pam Vitu & Rebecca (William) McCartt; granddaughters, Isabella & Natalie Fornieri & Grace McCartt; several nieces & nephews; special nephew, Scott (Rae Ann) High.

Richard was a WWII combat veteran who received a bronze star while serving in Normandy. He also received a bronze star under Patton’s third army & special forces. He will be remembered for his humor, kind heart & green thumb. Richard always made time for the people in his life & was an excellent listener.

Funeral Service Friday August 24th 11am at All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park 210 Marsh Rd. Pittsford, NY 14534 where burial will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pines of Peace Hospice.
