November 16, 2023 Jane Henning-Doyle passed away peacefully among family and friends at the age of 90.  Predeceased by her parents: Gertrude and Charles McCarthy, husbands: Carl Henning, Sr., John Doyle and Robert Persons, and siblings: Charles, Richard, Emily, Norma, Meryl, Joyce, Elna, Monica and daughter Susan.  Survived by her children: Carl Henning Jr., Jim (Donna) Henning and Charles (Aileen) Henning, stepson Dale (Brenda) Persons, adopted son David (Patti) Rockefeller, grandchildren Haley (Josh) Henning, Alex Henning and Ben Rockefeller along with many nieces and nephews.

Jane retired from the Finger Lakes DDSO in 1993.  She was previously employed as a bailiff at the Wayne County Hall of Justice and owner of Lyons Auto Parts.  Beginning in 1993, Jane became a snowbird, traveling for 27 years to Lake Seminole Estates, Seminole FL, spending quality time with friends that she cherished for years. 

Jane had a strong love for family and close friends.  She also loved the New York Yankees.  Jane enjoyed reading, playing cards, Sudoku and collecting antiques.

Jane’s family invites you to participate in Calling Hour and Celebration of Life on Monday, November 27th at 10:00AM at St. John Catholic Church of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450.  Funeral Mass will commence at 11:00AM.  Family and friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the mass.    

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester NY 14626. The family is appreciative of their loving care.
