Penfield: Went home to be with God on 21st of June, 2014. Predeceased by daughter, Gillisa; and sisters, Florence & RoseMary (Hoysic). Survived by wife of 52 years, Deirdre (McKiernan); daughters,Brigid (Mark) Bracy and Nuala (Conchúr) Boyle of Rochester: sons, Paul (Angela Whalen) of Canton, NY, Kieran (Laurie) and Karl of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; sister, Carol (Jack) Culligan; brothers, Herman, Jr. (Betty) of
Rochester, George (Pat) of Sarasota, FL, and Stephen (Eileen) of Chaumont, NY; many nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to call at the RICHARD H. KEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport, Egypt location, on Tuesday, 4-8 PM, where a Wake Service will he held at 8 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church (downtown). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the
House of Mercy, 725 Hudson Ave, Rochester,NY 14621.

    To the Hetzler family: I never got to meet Joseph, but as a child I grew up on Conesus Lake when our family rented the house (Sans Souci) on East Lake Road. I spent many happy hours visiting Rosamond across the street and petting the horse that Steven took care of. I remember Florence visiting and George and Pat were such good family friends.

    Please accept my sympathies on the loss of your dad and brother. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
