Fairport: June 10, 2015 at age 93. Survived by his wife of 73 years, Ora; children, Patricia Jason, Virginia Johannes and Richard (Bic) Hughes; grandchildren, John (Tracey) Jason, Dianne Iverson, Eric (Christine) Jason, Edward Johannes IV, Benjamin Johannes, Michael Hughes and Nathan Hughes; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Marcus, Amelia, Connor, Edward V and Asher. Byron was a WWII Veteran and also had 20 years of service with the US Navy. He was an avid fisherman and wood worker.
