Stanley J. Konieczny Jr., age 88, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Julia Konieczny, his first wife, Nancy Townsend Konieczny, his sisters Irene Henry, Jeanne Burns and Dorothy Steinmiller. He is survived by his wife, Rilda Shaw, his daughters Jennifer (John) Bradley and Beth (Michael Triolo II) Jocolano, stepchildren Kimberley (David) Umphress and Sharon (Jon) Ciccone, grandchildren Joshua (Andrea LoTurco) Bradley, Madison and Kelsea Jocolano, step-grandchildren Ashley (Alex ) Umphress, Courtney (Randall) Berrows, Cameron (Amy) Umphress, Sumner (Maren) Umphress and step-great grandchildren Amberley and Emi Umphress, Gabriel, Ollie, Zach, and Adela Berrows, and Declan Umphress.
Stanley John Konieczny was born in Rochester, NY on March 2, 1936 and was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area. He graduated from Aquinas High School and later from the University of Detroit with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a specialist in the Army and was deployed from Maryland to Alaska. He worked at Mixing Equipment Company (Mixco) and spent most of his career at the Eastman Kodak Company. He also worked as a consultant to the Rochester Institute of Technology engineering program.
Stanley was devoted to his family. He was a proud grandpa and enjoyed spending time throughout the years with his grandchildren during many family gatherings. He enjoyed woodworking, model railroading, cooking (including making pierogies), traveling, camping and spoiling his beloved Golden Retriever, Cassie.
Stanley was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Stan was a great leader to many at Kodak. Always doing the right things to improve others on special projects. A real gentleman at every meeting. Many different projects were enhanced by his mentorship and understanding of people and production.
