Robert (Bob) Bockrath, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024 surrounded by family at Aaron Manor in Fairport, NY.  Bob was predeceased by his wife Marilyn Bockrath, his son Joseph, and his parents Robert and Margery Bockrath of Kenosha, Wisconsin.  He is survived by his sons David Bockrath (Sue) of New York state and Joel Bockrath (Mary) of Virginia, his 9 grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Daniel, Cecilia, Peter, Carolyn, John, Katrina and Mark, as well as Bob’s favorite brother William Bockrath (Merilee) of Michigan, paternal nephew Marc (Jeanie) of Ohio and niece Jana (Randy) of Michigan, and other extended family.

Bob was born on September 24, 1939 in Bay City, MI.  He met his wife of 56 years, Marilyn (aka Caytee) while attending San Francisco State.  They raised their two sons in Northern California before moving to New York to be closer to their grand children.  He was an avid scenic photographer, bird watcher, stargazer, Lego maker, and loved Jesus. His care for his family, sense of humor and counsel will be surely missed.
