Lewis-Serra, Nancy

Nancy Lewis-Serra passed away peacefully on February 14, 2022, at the age of 85.  We are deeply grateful to the wonderful people at Creekstone (Leo’s House) for providing such excellent care, comfort and support to Nancy and her family.  

Predeceased by her husband Don, brother Walt Bannerman and stepdaughter Linda Smith.

She is survived by her children David (Betsy)Lewis, Stephen Lewis and Lisa Rathke, her sister Jane Dunham, and stepson Mark Serra along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Nancy always enjoyed outdoor activities when she lived in Pittsford.  Among them were tennis, skiing and gardening.  She always made time for sewing, family gatherings, cooking, baking and bridge with the girls. 

After retirement, she moved to Myrtle Beach where she had more time to play tennis, travel throughout the United States with her husband and walk on the beach.   While there, she met a wonderful friend, Gene Brown, with whom she spent many happy years. 

A private burial service at White Haven and family gathering will be held at a later date.
