Lochner, Vera M.

Victor: At 99 years of age, our precious mother, Vera M. Lochner, was called home at 1:20AM, Sunday morning, August 19, 2018, to be with her beloved husband of 67 years, Francis J. Lochner, who predeceased her exactly 9 years to the day.  She was also predeceased by her parents, Elijah and Jessica Gillette, brothers Maxwell (Lydia), Herbert (Dorothy), and Donald (Margaret) Gillette, sister, Dorothy (Clifford) Lane, and granddaughter,Jessica Lochner.  Survived by children, Janet (William) Schukraft, Marjorie Lochner, Thomas (Johanna) Lochner, Larry Lochner, Daniel (Nikkie) Lochner, and Douglas (Patricia) Lochner, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, Kathleen Nagle, Leona Lochner, Doris Lochner,  and many nephews, nieces and extended family.

She valued family, especially her children, above everything else.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23^rd from 10AM-12Noon with a Funeral Service to immediately follow at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport. Private interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.  We are so thankful for their caring attention that allowed our mom to pass peacefully in comfort and dignity.
