Mary P. Loughman peacefully passed away April 12, 2024. She is predeceased by her father Frank, mother Hilda and brother Gerald Fitzgibbons. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Stephen H. Loughman, her 5 children, Patricia (Bob) Glover, Stephen (Kathy) Loughman, Timothy (Julie) Loughman, Michael Loughman and Alicia (Dave Roberti) Loughman, her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful, resilient and kind mother and beloved grandmother. One of Mary’s great joys in life was traveling. She also enjoying hunting for antiques, lunch or afternoon tea with friends and had a passion for sewing. Early in her career she was an x-ray technician and then while raising her family, she worked for Monroe 1 Boces. Throughout the years, she was a dedicated volunteer at many local organizations such as Advent House, Fairport Baptist Home, Strong Gift Shop, The J.C.C. and St. John’s Home.
In keeping with Mary’s giving spirit donations may be made to The Advent House at 1010 Moseley Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 18th 2024, at 12:30, at The Church of the Assumption (20 East Ave. Fairport NY 14450) It may also be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7KDwYZKNC67ztipGFGdryQ
