Fairport, NY: Monday September 2, 2013 at home with his family by his side. Bruce was born December 29, 1947 in Rochester, NY to the late Clifford Joseph and Lillian Bryant Malboeuf. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his granddaughter Chelsea Marie, sister Sharon, brother Clifford and brother-in-law, Randy.

Bruce fought a courageous battle against cancer. He never gave up hope that he would beat it. Throughout his 65 years, Bruce continued to love and plan out the lives of his family. He also touched many lives along the way, but most importantly he was an unbelievable mentor to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Bruce was proud of his service with the US Army in Vietnam in 1968. He had a wonderful career with Xerox, which spanned 35 years in numerous positions within the corporation. He was “well respected by all who had the privilege to know and work with him. Bruce retired from Xerox in January 2002 and cherished the 11 years he had in retirement.

During his retirement. Bruce did all the activities that he loved; he was a remarkable mentor to his grandchildren, a master woodworker in his basement, captain of his boat on Sodus Bay, “Snowbird” who spent months out of the year with his wife on the RV in Florida. His love of boating and traveling took him on many adventures which bought him and his wife a lifetime of memories and friendships.

Bruce left a legacyto his children and his grandchildren that is precious and will be dearly missed. He was quoted as saying, “Success will not be measured by your wealth or material things. It will be measured by whether or not your children WANT to come to your house for dinner on Sunday”

  1. Diane,
Both Dottie and I will miss Bruce, but we also realize he is in a much better place. May he Rest In Peace. The marina will not be the same without his friendly smile, or his inspiring words of wisdom.
