Marzulo, Michael E. “Papa”

Fairport: June 24, 2014. Predeceased by wife, Barbara; son, Gary; sister, Bette. Survived by daughter, Jane (Paul) Spindler, Gail (fiance Greg Wahl) Spindler; grandchildren, Brian (Katharine) Cruk Spindler: brother, Charles Marzulo; many nieces and nephews and Lily the cat. Papa was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved fishing, golfing, bingo and his pets. He will be greatly missed by many.

Calling hours Saturday 3-5 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Egypt Location, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport. where a Service will immediately follow. Interment Tuesday 10:30 at White Haven Memorial Park (meet at the front entrance). In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or Golisano’s Children’s Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester.

  1. We are deeply saddened by Mickey’s passing, which we just found out about tonight (August 2nd). Mick was part of the “Fab Four” golf crew including old friends Gordon Davis, Bill Tomkiewicz and my late father, Dan Smith. The guys had many good times together – I remember one story in particular that my Dad told of Mickey trying to fetch his golf ball from the edge of a pond and ended up falling in and coming out covered in pond weeds. Both Barb & Mickey are remembered fondly from many get togethers over the years. Mickey always had a smile and laugh to share – we will miss him dearly.
